Service Log

Dear Builders Club members,

We want you to know that you SERVE your school, your community, your nation, and the world by maintaining and following Governor Inslee’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” guidelines.  Are you babysitting siblings by reading to them, counting with them, singing with them, and/or doing art with them? Are you learning to cook some meals for your family? Are you doing online chats with grandparents, shut-in neighbors, or friends who are feeling isolated or scared? Are you keeping a journal that will become a primary source for the future? Are you planting seeds for spring and summer in pots or gardens? Are you staying in touch with your teachers and doing what you can to continue your education? We know you are doing or will do great things. We believe in you and are anxious to see you again when we are able. Be helpful. Be safe.

Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Powell

Who We Are:

Builders Club (BC) is the largest service organization for middle school and junior high youth in the country, with more than 45,000 members worldwide. We are in our thirteenth year at CJH; BC regularly has 50-100 students participating in volunteer and service activities at our school and in our community. BC is sponsored by the Fircrest Kiwanis, a local adult service club.

What You will Learn and Do:

At BC, you will have the opportunity to plan, organize, and participate in a variety of service opportunities at CJH. You are also encouraged to volunteer in your community. You will make a positive difference in the world around you!
